We recommend that you use a sturdy, smooth, hardwood hoop. We offer the following ones from Germany. They come in three different sizes and will last a lifetime. For our 3 inch x 3 inch kits, you'll need a 5 or 6 inch hoop. Our 8.5 inch hoop is twice as thick and therefore sturdier for larger projects.
