CREWEL REMINDER

Make it a Crewel Halloween in New York City!
Interested in learning an updated version of the age-old craft of crewel embroidery? Or, are you already a pro and just want to hang out with some fellow crewelers? Well, if you live in (or near) NYC, you're in luck. On Saturday, October 31st, I'll be teaching a class at the very cool & wonderful Make Workshop in Manhattan on the lower East Side. We'll be creating a sampler like the one pictured above in the color of your choice. Students will learn a bit of crewel history, some embroidery basics and more than a dozen stitches. I'll have with me lots of my Wool & Hoop crewel kits, supplies & books -- all discounted for students of the class. And, you may bring your crewel embroidery projects to share with the class and get professional tips from yours truly. Click here to sign up.
