Make it a Crewel Halloween in New York City!

Interested in learning an updated version of the age-old craft of crewel embroidery? Or, are you already a pro and just want to hang out with some fellow crewelers? Well, if you live in (or near) NYC, you're in luck. On October 31st, I'll be teaching a class at the very cool & wonderful Make Workshop in Manhattan on the lower East Side. We'll be creating a sampler like the one pictured above in the color of your choice. Students will learn a bit of crewel history, some embroidery basics and more than a dozen stitches. I'll have with me lots of my Wool & Hoop crewel kits, supplies & books -- all discounted for students of the class. And, you may bring your crewel embroidery projects to share with the class and get professional tips from yours truly. Sign up now -- space is limited.
